District 5110 Rotary Foundation Celebration Dinner & Auction

Rogue Valley Country Club
October 3^rd  5pm Social,  6pm dinner

On behalf of the District Nominating Committee, and in accordance with the District 5110 Policy Manual and the most recent adopted enactments at the Council on Legislation, I hereby open the call for nominations for candidates to serve as District Governor 2029–2030 for District 5110. Please pay particular attention to the requirements for District Governor:

• Must have served one full term as a Rotary Club President
• Must have completed seven years of Rotary service by the time he/she becomes governor.
• In order to suggest a qualified Rotarian the following is required:
  • Club Resolution certifying the suggestion of a qualified candidate (signed and dated by both the Club President and the Club Secretary)

• Rotary International Governor-Nominee Data Form (Available in DACdb, My District, District Files, Nominations Folder)
  • Supplemental information limited to:
    A photo of the candidate
  • A biographic sketch/resume of his/her personal, business and Rotary background

Applicants will be invited to attend the Foundation Rendezvous Dinner on October 3rd in Medford and asked to give a four (4) minute talk on “The Value of The Rotary Foundation” at that dinner, with the specific question to be provided approximately one week before the event.
The D5110 Nominations Committee will meet after the Quarterly Grants meeting earlier on October 3^rd to interview and confer about candidates nominated.

The members of the nominating committee and the District Governor line must receive completed applications no later than September 16, 2026. Their contact information is listed on the page attached to the District Governor Nominee for 2029-2030 form.
You are encouraged to act now and not wait until the last minute.
