Navajo Solar Lights Update
Plans are proceeding for both Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 installations. A small group of us will gather on the western side of the Navajo Nation October 10-12. This will be a remote area of the reservation and we will be serving elders who have been waiting for some time. Logistics are difficult, but with the dedicated assistance of Joe Williams, the Durango Club and Roger Allen and Molly McCallum, we are certain to get the job done.
Thanks to the diligent effort of PP Bruce Garrett and his work in applying for District Matching Grants, we have been awarded a matching grant of $1,000 for RY 2019-20.
