Tandi Reading Tent

Held on May 4th, the first Tandi Reading Tent, supported by State of Jefferson Rotary and a District 5110 grant, was very successful. Our colleague in Kampala organized the reading tent (tent is figurative in this context) and invited local children to read and to celebrate reading. The idea is to help children in Uganda obtain books and have a safe place to read them. We have another reading tent scheduled for later this month, so stay tuned for more.
