The December issue of the Rotary magazine arrived the other day and my favorite contributor has a great article – “Wanted: Good Samaritans”.
Joe Queenan always gives me something to think about and this month he reminds me why recruiting good folks to Rotary is so important. I quote: “Virtuous people need help. Virtuous people need to recruit new talent. All the time. This, in fact, is why Rotary clubs exist.” DG Cindy reminded us that Rotarians are built for times like these. So give some thought to increasing the ranks of good Samaritans and feeling good about it.
