Welcome to this week’s meeting of the eClub of the State of Jefferson.
I am Bob Gibson, President of the Rotary eClub of State of Jefferson. Welcome to this week’s meeting. I hope this finds you well.
Forgive me for using a sports analogy. We are in a “building year.” Building our membership will strengthen our Club by bringing additional horsepower to our service opportunities. I believe we provide a unique opportunity for Rotarians whose work schedules, travels and living locations don’t match with a traditional Rotary Club. We offer a quality Rotary experience, allowing participation on an individual’s schedule and location.
Your Board is meeting today, October 20. We will be considering modifications to our By-Laws, our Annual Goals, and the process for nominations. As I’ve said, being involved in Club leadership is a wonderful way to learn about what Rotary has to offer. You are encouraged to step forward and get involved.
